We had an extra long BTS Sunday this week. We finished season 1 of IN THE SOOP and watched all the new performance videos from JK.

JK:

Seven is out!!!!! The song is a HUGE hit and is breaking record after record. The song becomes the FASTEST SONG to surpass 100 million streams in Spotify history (6 days), Seven is the biggest streaming debut by an Asian act in Spotify Global Chart history (112.8M) and the third biggest debut of all time as well as the biggest in 2023!!!

Seven is the  fastest song in history to reach #1 on iTunes in 100 total countries (2.5 hours) and breaks the record for biggest streaming week by any song ever on the Spotify counter. JK now holds the record of TOP 8 Biggest Streaming Days by K-pop Acts on Spotify Global Chart and is now the most consumed male artist across all digital platforms. So proud that all of his hard work is getting the achievements it deserves.

There has also been the release of different versions of the song from a Lofi version to a festival remix to a total of 7 (I think) remixes for army to enjoy!

He has also been busy traveling to promote Seven and doing performances, interviews, going on weverse live 3 times, crashing the stationhead server when he was hosting, and even covering “Let There Be Love” by Oasis on BBC radio 1!!!! There is too much content to list (most of it is on the playlist and will be updated) but he has been so busy making sure we have lots of content to keep us busy and to promote Seven!

RM:

Namjoon is namjooning. He’s sharing lots of photos of him with nature, with friends, his workout whiteboard, and especially photos of him working in the studio. He went live for 10 minutes to chat with army and say hi  and said “I wish I could tell you about my next project, but I don't think I have much to say because it's so in the middle. It's going well and it's 180 degrees different from Indigo. Many people are helping me and I’m having fun.” So excited to see what this body of work will be like and hope he is taking care of himself well during the process!!!

V:

Tae is now the global ambassador for Cartier (luxury jewelry) and will be the face of their panther collection, so proud of him!!

Despite him only have 3 songs on the platform, tae has 14 million followers on Spotify and joins hobi and joonie as the only k soloist to achieve this. Insane power.

He also went live twice within 10 minutes (for a minute and a half & a whole three minutes) while I’m the gym, half working out and half fooling around jamming to his workout music (honestly super entertaining lol) and he even made sure to make fun of namjoons constant post of his whiteboard workout

SUGA:

With 200k sales, 'D-day'  becomes the Highest Best Selling album released in 2023 by  a solo Artist & Rapper in US! So proud of him and his well deserved success!!!

We have less than 2 weeks until his final shows in Seoul, though I hope he’s resting well until then I’m sure he’s working as hard as always making content for army and practicing to make these last few shows incredible.

New episode of Suchwita is out and SOPE is finally reunited!!! As always it’s an amazing episode and here is the Teaser.

JIMIN:

'FACE' is now the most streamed album by a Korean soloist in Spotify history. Much deserved!!! So proud!!!

Jimin traveled to New York for an unknown schedule and is now safely back in Seoul, he updated us in weverse where he let us know he was safely back and that he forgot his instagram password which is not surprising but I hope he gets into it soon!
