Jin's allergy to garlic is what actually made me realize that was a thing that I probably had. I always thought I was allergic to seafood (which is crazy living in the Bahamas because thats 90% of our diet) but i came to realize that I was just always cooking the seafood with garlic! Luckily, my allergy is very similar to Jin's so I get itchy but my throat doesn't close up or anything. One time my entire face got swollen (the result of eating a seafod boil at a crab shack while I thought I was allergic to seafood still) but that went away without any issues!

Also, his potato allergy is actually more severe than his garlic allergy. =( I feel bad for him because Jin loves food so much, and garlic is in EVERYTHING. When he first revealed his diagnosis, he said, "No garlic or potatos? Is there anything left to eat..?"

Just wanted to say, since there seemed to be some confusion in the live chat, Jin was not allergic to either garlic or potatos at the time this episode was filmed. It was just a couple of years ago that he developed the allergies. Sometimes food allergies can develop later in life. They definitely would not have made him drink garlic juice if he'd been allergic to it at the time.

Wow, I was really surprised to see some people said to skip the skit episode 6 (and to be honest it also annoyed me a bit). This is actually a really legendary episode and has such great humour. I agree it's a bit weird if you are new to this and don't know their personalities or Korean humour. Of course, you need to know who is who, otherwise half of it isn't funny (V confessing about Jimin to Jimin as the priest). It also tells you a lot about their relationships back then, their dorm life and how they saw each other. To me this episode is absolutely hilarious and I absolutely love it. It has such great lines - keep in mind that this wasn't scripted but they did this on the spot. They are comical geniuses. I strongly suggest watching this with an open mind if you haven't so far, otherwise you're missing some classic BTS content. I also love how free they and the company were back then to do crazy stuff like this.

Some of their earlier episodes are less polished and there will be some episodes that are better than others but it definitely gets better and better. Can't wait for u to get to the legendary episodes ❤️
