Here's a really short video with Richard and Schneider about the language and the pyro, I find it super interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pI-Kt28nzHw

As I recall, the band was considering to do their songs in english for a while, but Till didn't really want to since his english wasn't really that good at the time. But they tried it a bit, and turned out that the feel of the songs got sort of lost in translation. (As well as all of Tills genius wordplay) So they didn't do it. But there is a english version of Du Hast, and a cover of Stripped (Depeche Mode) which is in english. Also, they made a cover of Das Model (Kraftwerk) and I cant remember if there might be an english version of that as well...

I really love how this song shows off everyone, especially the underrated drummer Christoph (who's just had his 3rd kid). And Rammstein didn't get hit as hard as Marilyn Manson but the first line of this song I can understand turning heads. I've always seen the band covering controversial topics as also a comfort from the reality of the issues. The songs in my opinion takes away power from the horrible people in the situations. When you think of the bad things someone did for attention or the horror they did. You don't think of the people. You think of the songs. Another cannibal case was found in Germany yesterday and everyone brought up Mein Teil. They take power away from the evil in my view. Glad you enjoyed this Jim!
