More computer trouble.
Added 2024-11-03 15:51:43 +0000 UTCI sadly have to take my PC in for more repairs, it seems that my current PSU is either failing, or insufficient to my new build. so when ever my GPU has to go full utilization, or needs to multitask with both 3D render and video encoding, it overtaxes PSU and shuts down, and thus loses all visual output on the PC, crashing all GPU bound apps and processes. and it takes a reboot to recover visuals, needless to say, this is a disasterous state for an art focused PC.
And while the fix may be simple, the maintenance line up for the shop I bought the PC from is so glogged with repairs that they estimate 14 day wait. Which means 2 weeks of no comics, again. I will post likely some iPad doodles and traditional art in the meanwhile.

I agree PSU is the most likely suspect. If it’s faster to order one online, Replacing a power supply is one of the simplest of PC repairs. All the connectors are keyed so it’s hard to cross-wire, unplug the old, plug in the new. I could literally walk you through it over a video call.
