You're looking for something that isn't there. Saiya has always made clear through words, actions and thoughts that whatever Tessa feels (who latched onto her being the first who just happened to not know or care about her streaming career) she doesn't reciprocate in a romantic way. It was a "relationship" built on lust alone. Saiya saw her as an object (because Tessa wanted her to), instant and easy gratification yet simultaneously as an unwanted distraction (who came onto her) from being faithful, because she loved Aika. Tessa encouraged her to cheat, seduced and homewrecked partially out of jealousy, desperation and misplaced single minded obsession, it's been entirely toxic throughout. It's all they did. Now what lasting, fair and deserving relationship which would be stained (at the cost of another) from the getgo btw can possibly be built from that, which you could actually root for? And here you have Saiya prioritizing rent money with Tessa crying right next to her... Such caring selfless love. It would make way more sense for Saiya to end up with nobody at all rather than seeing these two together. Friends at the most. Tessa would be better off accepting that, than fooling herself and putting hope into something she isn't going to get and never will. Especially if she doesn't rethink her idea of what proper healthy romance actually *is*. Merely sharing a humiliation kink and solely focusing on that doesn't make them the best couple for eachother by default either, nor a good mix of personalities. Saiya trying to stick to a promise for Aika as well, who she has considered a good friend from the start who turned girfriend and actually built a (in comparison) bond with, if you take away her incessant lack of willpower screwing things up, isn't a surprise either.
