Besides, to me at least, it has always felt like the breakfast with sister saga and no lunch break were also set out to become this long, Kip just became dispassionate (might be wrong here). I don't really understand what people mean when they say they want things to move faster. We've been getting hot scenes and a lot of weight gain along with character development, that's what we're here for, no? There must be something specific you want out of this comic, or do you just want the comic to end to make space for a new project? I'm genuinely curious because I (and many others, I think) don't really see reason to offer this complaint...

2024-12-21 06:26:36 +0000 UTCI feel that's more on outside of the paetreon here a lot of people in the paetreon have been nice though I could be totally wrong. Say in the forums or deviant art you do see that "don't like it don't read it mentality which if you ask me doesn't make you a real fan in any form of media. Change can be good but people tend to fear change and while I obviously can't speak for kip I have to respect him for sticking with his guns he probably gets super annoyed, so kip if you do read this don't try to be a people pleaser, most of us are here because we do like what you do which will attract more like minded people, and take the reasonable criticism into consideration to better your craft.

2024-12-20 21:49:43 +0000 UTCWell you're certainly a lot more reasonable sounding than what I've seen on forums where people barely even offer any legit constructive criticism, on said forums they usually just devolve into shit talking. And I understand where the frustration can come from with how stupid saiya acts and while I can't read kips mind I'm pretty sure he did that on purpose to make the audience yell at saiya for blundering so much, it's a writing form that's not for everyone but so far I've liked.

2024-12-20 17:08:33 +0000 UTCi'm sorry if this comes off the wrong way, but... for the next comic you do (in however many years it takes to wrap this one up lol), can you *please* just make a storyboard for the whole thing before you start it? i get that "slow-burn" comics are a thing, and that's largely what you've been doing throughout your career, but this one feels like none of the characters' actions have significant long term consequences bc the same story threads keep repeating ad infinitum (with the exception of tessa's most recent streaming incident, which took over 3 real-time years) with no signs of any possible conclusion. the characters also just don't seem to learn anything from their actions despite how long it's been since the start of this, which impacts their likability by a significant margin. again, i'm sorry for being harsh, but it's just frustrating because i truly do enjoy your work, and have been following for longer than i can keep track of off the dome. ik i'm gonna get trashed in the replies, and i may just end up deleting this whole-ass essay later, who knows. but i don't think i'm the only one who holds this opinion.
