Mary is a very kind gentle giant of a lady. She works really hard as an Anesthesiologist, her job keeps her on the side lines but is very important in the line of making sure the patient feels no pain during surgery, but she almost never gets any credit being more or less a sidekick to the surgeon.

Having a hard time keeping a boyfriend or even getting one, men tend to think she is trying to trick them when she asks them out and feel its just a means to make fun of even though shes 100% serious but comes to understand why they would think that. Her schedule is also a part of why she can't hold a man, she makes a lot of money and has a great house but a job that can be 40-50 hours a week to sometimes being 55-65 hours a week can cause some promises being broken because she was held up at work. Despite it all she is very sweet and just wants someone to love and call her own. She might have finally caught a break because Erick is the kind of loser that isn't about to throw in the tower so easily.
