[ WIP ] UI Preview
Added 2024-09-12 16:27:01 +0000 UTCFirst of all, I want to thank you all for your feedback on the last poll, it was really helpful since we had no idea where to begin regarding the theme 😅
So, this is the first sketch of it ✨ I took inspiration on gladioli, the sword flower (but I also think the petals look like labia? Is it just me? 😳) The royal/fantasy aesthetic blends really well with Karryn's outfit and looks more like how she would see the prison's management, a style more fitting of the Imperial Secretary 🌹✨
I plan to take my time sketching the rest of the menu screens. Right know I have both of my arms with pinched nerves and it will take around two weeks to get better. Seems like I pushed myself too hard while drawing these last days and I'll need to take it easy for a while 😩💦 Making a full rendered piece is too painful on my fingers, but I can manage drawing simple stuff like this UI concept. But don't worry, I've prepared this month's content & rewards, so I won't leave you alone at all~
For now, please send me your comments and suggestions, it really makes me happy and motivates me to keep doing my best (I'll be more careful from now on!)

2024-09-13 09:26:09 +0000 UTCI really want to add some unique details since we may not be able to change all the small icons (like the edicts skill tree and status) since we want to prioritize the gameplay assets. But since the UI is something you'll be seeing for most of the gameplay, I want to add more things to it. Oh well, that's a task for the team, I'm just the artist/designer 👀

2024-09-13 04:40:11 +0000 UTCOh my god, the chains or what ever it will be, would change according how lewd and corrupt is Karryn, or if she lost virginity! that would be huge. But i guess that would be extra work, making different assets for different levels. Maybe one link represents a 10 points of level, and 100 is one level (or something like that, just spitballing) and so every 10 points break one link (or as much is needed) and then on the 100 the whole chain is breaking apart, and there is some kind of special effect on the flower in corner, maybe it chages to be more lewd, so it does look more like a penis, or vagina or whatever... 🤔 Nah nvm, that would be extra work, for such little effect. 🤣

The chains are supposed to be behind Karryn since she’s on top of the UI in the original game (idk if this is intentional or an overlook), but I’ll definitely take it into account once I test the real assets since those should look more clean. I like the idea of the broken chains, I made those as a symbolism of Karryn being trapped in the prison, as well of the chains of her own virginity and suppressed desires. We could change those to broken ones once the prison gets more and more corrupt 👀 Anyway, I think I’ll make the chains thiner or closer to the frame and go from there. Sorry for the rant 😅 Thank you both for your understanding, I’ll rest as much as I can ^^

I’d prefer if her borders were a bit more modest as well <3 Aside from that, I think the color palette looks good, and fits your other artwork well. Can’t wait to see more (after you’ve healed, of course)!

Atleast for me it is, maybe put them only in corners, and the chains being broken. Or maybe just flowers ? Purple is 🔥. Also dont push yourself too hard, hands are importante 🤣
