Pausing billing

Hi guys,

as I assumed in the last post I will not be able to publish a new release this month.
Unfortunately August is very unproductive since I spend most of the time out with my family.
Hence, as in the last years, I will stop next payment cycle.

1.25 will be out in September though, so there's not so much to wait after all πŸ˜‰ .

Have a nice end of summer, see you in a few weeks!

Thank you so much! And you're right, this period is also important to recharge and avoid burning out.

Honestly, you give us so much enjoyment every month I'd be more that happy to keep to keep paying. Your rest is just as important to this project as the fantastic love you give our girl every month. Relax, enjoy and thank you!

Yeah, well, my production cycle is very predictable, August is the weak spot and besides that it's always monthly release. I like this schedule, it could be too tight and stressful sometimes (often) but it forces me to stop experiment and actually deliver something usable. The support is the fuel that makes me stick to this program and in my mind is the reward for the advancements I produce in every release, so when I don't publish anything I feel a bit guilty and prefer to stop the billing cycle. I think it's also fair in general and a way to thank the people that supported me during the previous months. Thanks for your understanding and for taking the time to comment my decision.

Fair. Thanks for honestly communicating with us about your situation. I wish all creators would communicate more openly about the ups and downs in their productivity - I don't mind sticking with a creator finding themselves facing IRL or creative trouble and unable to stick to their planned publishing schedule. What I DO mind is not knowing what is going on while I'm continuing to get billed. I've stuck with several patreons who did have longer "ebbs" in their schedule, and in hindsight, my commitment was more than rewarded with excellent content once they "got back into the saddle" - The key, for me, was their clear and honest communication about their situation and their plans.
