Hi guys, welcome to Regolo Engine release 1.21, another important step on the path to the perfect virtual encounter!

A lot of progresses to be shown here, so let's start without further ado and let's dig it together.

An important notice before going on

This release is incredibly complex and introduces a lot of new mechanisms. This makes it quite a beta since it still misses some core features that were planned at the beginning. Check the related paragraph below to know why it's very important and which features are in the making.

I like to move it, move it

So we explored the girl at first, then the boy, now it's time to explore the environment.
In this last incarnation of the discovery behaviour the girl can wander around searching for something to explore using the amazing perception system 2.0.
In order to achieve this I needed to create a new destination-less and disjointed walking system and a granitic balance system. You can imagine time was not my friend πŸ˜‚ . This is also the reason why this release is far from how it should have been and still misses some core features (check the last paragraph).

Anyway this is an important evolution of the core experience and it's the first behaviour that merges different modules that lived almost isolated so far.

Lets look what it offers:

Note 1:all the "dual" options don't work in motion mode, only options available here are "Motion modes" and "Enable sex moves"
Note 2: if the girl tries to reach a very angles interest point her hands could tangle. In this case please grab and reposition them properly.

One hint about the motion modes: don't select "wander afar" or "auto" if you don't use a closed environment, or you risk her walking away and never come back.

Sex in motion

While I was developing the new build I thought that watching and touching the girl exploring the surroundings was great, that having her exploring you was awesome, but that I wanted also her to do nasty stuff while doing that. Just to make things even more complicated πŸ˜„ .

So I added sexual actions to the behaviour, also to understand how well standard animations were merging with perception ones. The result is good and the two flows cross smoothly.

You can enable the sexual action checking the proper option in the girl ui. It's disabled by default. Consider that if you enable it the girl will always try to do an handjob or a blowjob while the boy comes near her. This is true also if she explores the boy.
Please consider there is not direction control on this so do not approach her from her back.

If instead you leave the sexual actions disabled the boy can come near her while she explores the furniture and enjoy her doing her job while watching or touching her, and she will eventually explore the boy in a totally different manner (check the video).
I dare to say they are two completely different approaches and I urge you to try both of them. Also the way she explores the boy it's really improved respect the "dual" one.

Please also that during exploration climax system is available so the boy can ejaculate all over the place. Also, during exploration, you can also move her hands (handy in case of wrong positioning) and head (but remember that boy will ejaculate if "Cum by head-grab" is checked).

Why this is yet to be completed

I believe it's clear to all at this point, this release was born with a specific aim, that is make the girl aware of the environment and give her a first kind of independence. The starting idea of the plugin was precisely that after all, so I cannot say it's deviating too much.
To imprint this direction at this early stage was a nice temptation so I decided to give it a go even if there was not enough time to complete all the needed parts.
I think I was lucky and was able to create a good backbone in time, but a lot of stuff is missing or so early that I couldn't include it.

For example I already started working at a obstacle avoidance system. The walking is totally different from the standard one so I cannot use the old one and I need to rework its logic as well.
Also a specific anti-entanglement mechanism for the hands is very needed at this point (and already in the making), since she tries to reach stuff that is in every direction because she is wandering around without any clue. Also she turns while exploring and will do even more stuff like this later.
She wanders around and searches for objects but she is not really aware about where she is or what she is touching. This is something that completely misses and needs to be introduced somehow.
Also, the new walking is quite bugged, in particular during 180 turning, lacks visually and doesn't exploit its disjointed nature yet.
The old animations are just "animations" and don't take advantage of the new perception system (even if they merge very well with it).
Lastly, all of this is just a mode of an already exiting behaviour. This nested nature is a big hindrance and needs to be encapsulated in a proper behaviour,

As you can see there is a lot of work to do just to bring this release to the level I wanted it to be it at the beginning, and a lot more will have to be done to bring on the work and expand it. The hard path to give the poor girl a place to live 😁  .

How to use it

Regolo Engine 1.21 has been built and tested on VaM 1.20.77.9.

Detailed instructions about dance folder and dance UI can be found in the 1.8 release post.

It's highly recommended to disable soft body physics to enhance the experience and avoid undesirable effects. In fact the many random frictions caused by most of the behaviours generated by the plugin cause unpredictable soft-physics reactions.

Change physics update cap to 1 if you experience trembling issues.

Also an important recommendation: safest way to start over the plugin execution is to clear it, reset girl's pose manually (from the person -> control panel) and then reload it. The plugin tries to automatically reset the pose at every start but it's not always perfect.

Please remember the furniture list known by the girl, below. You can delete and add duplicates but there always must be one and only one couch with the guy over it. Also, don't create steeplechases and create a regular environment as the standard room provided, please.

"AptSofa" (mandatory and just one) beside the sofa there should be at least one of the following known furniture (PlayerNavigationPanel for example, and they can be also more than one for type)

Limitations and caveats

- Consider always that anima and obsessions are mutually exclusive. Every time you choose one of them you lose the previous settings. You can check your current choice looking at the yellow info box at the lower left corner of the UI.

- The Enchanter room tries to load 500+ audio files at the beginning, but it doesn't need to do that again if you just reset the plugin.  The songs for the dancing load at the beginning too (but can changed and reloaded in real time via UI).

- Being it totally procedural, there can be better and worse runs.

- Some behaviours have really a large spectrum of possibilities, so some unlucky variations are unavoidable.

In the end

So we're at it. I hope you liked the progress and the directions taken. Personally I can't wait to complete the work started this month and push it even further.
Sincerely it was not planned to go this fast, but I embrace the development even if it will eventually lead to significant changes sooner than I thought.

Plenty of time to discuss about this still, let's think about the new release first πŸ˜‰ .

Thank you Darren, yeah, it was a bit stressful to plan and realize a working system like this in such a short period. I'm pretty satisfied though, in particular how she balances herself now while exploring is something I'm very proud of, it really works well with any object or person the girl interacts with, even multiple ones at once (like in the video). PS: There's definitively something going on between her and the lamp πŸ˜‚

Wow, so much cool stuff here. This must have been a real challenge. Thank you. I look forward to testing. PS The video was great. I had a real laugh at her getting personal with the lamp :D
