Here comes the 1.4 guys!
A couple of days more respect the preview post schedule, so let's not waste time and let's see what it has in store for us.

As usual I have tried to use my poor videomaking skills to produce a preview video. I'm having fun doing this, even if it took several hours. I should probably spend such time in a more productive way, but underlining the strengths of the engine in a visual way is very rewarding to me.
Anyway, here's the 1.4 promo, hope you enjoy it:

How to use it
Regolo Engine 1.4 has been built and tested on VAM 1.18.0.6.
With the introduction of audio the Enchanter steps are slightly different:
If you have the Enchanter version the first thing to do is to put the RegoloEngineAudio folder under Custom/Assets. Please note that the Enchanter room will try to load all the audio files (400+) directly at the beginning, so be sure to have placed in in the correct spot.
Also an important recommendation: safest way to start over the plugin execution is to clear it, reset girl's pose manually (from the person -> control panel) and then reload it. The plugin tries to automatically reset the pose at every start but it's not always perfect.
Starting from this release you can remove and add the supported furniture (see the list above). Please use them carefully and always put them so that there are no obstacles for the girl. Also they should face the center of the room, since she tries to reach them frontally, she doesn't know hot to curve yet xD.
Bugs and caveat
- Environmental audio effects during handjob and blowjob have a 100% occurrence probability This could be a bit too much for someone, so I was evaluating the insertion of a way to adjust it. Could it be useful or am I just paranoid :D ?
- The Enchanter room tries to load 400+ audio files at the beginning, but it doesn't need to do that again if you just reset the plugin.
- The girl takes often a while to change anima/obsession, in particular during masturbation/handjob/blowjob. If she wants to make, let's say 4 cycles of blowjobs she will not stop until she's finished. I understand this can be annoying so I'm focusing on it and thinking a way to improve this aspect asap.
- Being it totally procedural, there can be better and worse runs.
- I noticed a strange behaviour that I feel like a VaM problem. Sometimes the body detaches from the controller and maintains a slack physical bond. This makes the body to get a flabby pose that ruins the animations. It happened a couple of times to me and I was not able to reproduce later on. I'm not sure it's some other VaM setting I have messed on or it's a bug. It's not controllers' position/rotation spring/damper/maxforce since I already checked them and the plugin manages them in a controlled way.
If it happens to you and you have any idea on how to fix please let me know.
In the end
As I teased in the preview this was a tricky release. Several new functionalities drained a lot of time, as the new audio manager, the jerky movements dampener or the walking easing mechanism. They will be used in most if not all the future animations, so they were worth the time.
For example the blowjob was not possible with the old engine capabilities, so I reworked a good chunk of the movement manager in order to make it possible the way you will experiment in this release.
So a lot of new internal functionalities for the engine come with this release. Hope you will appreciate the overall labour that is coming along.
PS: handjob/blowjob environmental sounds took the whole time slot reserved to audio tasks. So no new speeches this month, I'm sorry. I'm very proud of the sounds selection though.
I tried to test everything as deeply I could but with all all these possible combinations it's tough. So if you notice any major reproducible issue or any recurrent wrong behaviour, please let me know and I will try to fix it.

Joking, see you in November for the 1.5. I'm thinking of making it an animations only release (with a couple of exceptions) and produce it faster to align with a mid-month recurring average scheduling.
