Fantastic ending scene....yea I agree the image of him resting on the cross, while he’s also burning....kinda reminds me of season 1 ep 7 at the end when the cross that Buffy is wearing (given to her by Angel) leaves a burn mark on Angels chest. Kinda like both Angel and Spike don’t mind the pain if it means that Buffy loves them.
