This was the very first movie I was able to go see in theaters of legal age. Loved every moment of it. 😁

Incredibly accurate in its details, from the gas prices to the soundtrack to the ease of getting served in a liquor store to the clothes to the hair etc. Though where I lived there was no freshman hazing, the rest is what it was like. My first car was a 72 Pontiac LeMans. My first concert, Aerosmith's Toys In The Attic tour. I got served in liquor stores at age 16. We drove around drinking. We had parties in the same sorts of places. Smoked pot in a certain area outside the school. Cigarettes in designated smoking areas. Director Richard Linklater has an amazing body of work. Many of the actors in this film went on to have good to amazing careers in the movie business. Thanks, guys. Fun watching a film about my past within a video of your past....and now it's all in the past. (P.S. 58 cents for gas then is about 3.00 now).
