Against all odds, this film not only captures perfectly the look of the Mod/Rockers era, along with the narrative of the album, but also visually flows in service of the Who's music, not forcing the soundtrack as an afterthought. That's a very unlikely hat trick. So, it's really only a very short distance in time you have to travel back to: specifically Dec. 2022 and reconsider the total elimination film. Amend the policy to just eliminate the weaker films.

It’s something else.It’s War and Peace.it’s The Godfather. It’s an epic journey. One song leads into the next. Culminating in Love Reign O’er Me,like you said. Every teenager has felt the way Jimmy felt on Quadrophenia. It’s not just a rock albumIts the Mona Lisa of rock albums.. Roger,John,Pete and Keith are all at the top of their abilities here.As a whole,The Who is the most under appreciated band ever. Forget the Mount Rushmore of rock bands. The Who stand alone atop Mount Everest.
