I believe that repeat of the first 30 seconds is an error that started in the US LP version of this song. Oh Well was only released as a single in the UK. The single version of Oh Well obviously has Part One on the A-Side and Part Two on the B-Side. Part One ends with the first 30 seconds of Part Two as the fadeout. For some reason, whoever compiled the songs for the US LP just spliced the two parts together without removing the repeat. This has unfortunately been repeated in all digital releases. I wish there was an easily accessible version with that extra repeat of 30 seconds removed.

2024-05-29 14:10:57 +0000 UTCPeter Green's drink was spiked with LSD (without his knowledge) and the bad trip destroyed him, he was barely able to cope with life. He left the band, and it was Mick Fleetwood who found Buckingham-Nicks some years later after Bob Welch departed. Peter Green used to be a customer in my deli in Notting Hill Gate (London) in the late seventies. He was always very subdued, said very little. An air of melancholy around him.

2023-08-19 10:18:04 +0000 UTCPart II preempted Mike Oldfield by many years... Peter Green was a legend. There were always stories of a tramp in my area who was an old member of Fleetwood Mac when I was in school - who had sold his guitar and grown his nails long...
