We’d all like to believe that anyone we consider a “friend” would never betray us. As empathetic beings, it’s natural to put trust in other people. Sometimes we do so too casually, however…and to a fault. We can only hope the people we’re close with won’t stab us in the back…never mind in a literal sense. Back in 2016, just outside of Boston, MA in the city of Lawrence, a man walking his dog would make a gruesome discovery along the Merrimack River. When the community learned who was responsible for one of the most depraved acts to ever take place in their city, it would ultimately change the way many viewed the term “friendship”... forever.
