He was preparing to spend the holidays with his girlfriend and her parents, when suddenly, his behavior began to rapidly change. One minute he was fine, the next - he was making rash decisions and breaking down into tears over nothing. After hastily proposing to his girlfriend, Ronald broke off the engagement and left the couple’s home headed for Florida. But when Ronald arrived in Versailles, Kentucky - a simple road sign triggered him into doing the unthinkable.

Not blaming them, but... they went ring shopping after he proposed during a clearly psychologically unhinged melt down? Everyone around that man failed him (they probably just prayed for him) and in turn they failed that child. This entire situation could have potentially been avoided.

2023-08-29 15:09:01 +0000 UTCToo many people ignore the signs of mental illness. He showed clear signs that he was unwell beforehand. This could have been prevented if only his symptoms were recognized and taken seriously. This is why mental health is so important and needs to be something all people learn about.
