Weekly update September 18th

Hi guys!

As usual, let's give the art updates first: Fausto has been working on completing a scene (7 illustrations approx.) and it is almost done.
We are really liking the result. Although at first we were a bit apprehensive about the comic-book-style aesthetic, the more we work with it the more we like it. We believe it fits the project wonderfully.

In terms of the script, we've been introducing a scene that used to belong to chapter 3 into chapter 2's structure. We think that it works well in terms of narrative, it quickens the evolution of some paths and helps to add whole new scenes in chapter 3 that let us work with characters that didn't have as much screen time in the old version as we would have liked. This change won't be too important for chapter 2 but it opens the door for new and interesting changes in chapter 3 that we think you're gonna love (we're getting hyped just thinking about it!).

We've seen that there's been quite the engagement with the questions about the progress bars. If you want, we can make a short Q&A about whatever topics of LC and RedLolly that you may have. Just leave your questions in the comments and we'll get to them on the next weekly update.

See u soon! ❤️

Nice to hear you making progress and use the "second chance" to change some of the not so perfect details of the game :) . A Q&A is also nice, so let me shoot some at you: - Are the changes to story-developement mostly due to you being a new team (you and Fausto making different decisions than you and the former artist / you are now able make the decisions on the story mostly on your own with Fausto being in charge of the articstic part and not of the story part as well) or is it mostly based on the experience you gained getting to chapter 5 that you see the former chapters different now? - You spea of the new "comic-book-style". My impression is that the facial expressions and the colors are now rather more realistic than comic-like. What of the current design do you see as more comic-like? - How much do you feel restricted by Patreon-policies when it comes to include some darker parts of the story like black-mailing someone in going without panties for example? - Does it feel sometimes a little unfullfilling to work for many people you cannot see the direct impact of your work from? Would you sometimes like to ask us about some particular scene like "Hey, how do you like this particular Rielke-impression? I was so glad when I finally came up with tha word X that makes the whole joke come alive much more?" I myself found it quite unfullfilling when Corona was at large and I had to rely on e-mail and audio-conferences and could not see any reaction to my lame jokes. It was really great to get back in direct contact with my customers again. And you only do have a very indirect way of beeing gratified for your work with subscriptions and some lonly commets from time to time.

I like the esthetic. It is different in a good way.
