IMPORTANT NOTICE! (Due to change in Apple's policies)

Hey guys!

There have been some changes in the payment systems for Patreon on iOS. Basically, Apple is forcing Patreon to switch to their in-app purchase system, or else Patreon could be removed from their store and Patreon has caved in.

So, the prices of tiers on iOS could drastically increase (by around 30-40%) to make up for the 30% App Store fee to all new members.

Also, the creators wont receive the payment until 75 freaking days! It is a total worst situation for both the creators and members.

Of course I found a way to avoid paying extra. And the method is legal as I contacted the patreon support to clear them and confirm whether the ideas could work. Luckily, they will work.

I'm making this post to inform you guys how you can AVOID paying higher.

There are only two ways to avoid paying higher. I’ll list them both here.
PS: These changes will happen on all patreon channels. So, if you’re subscribed to someone else, you can use these there as well.

First method - This change will only affect new members. So, if you don't cancel the membership, the prices for you won't change and you'll be paying the same as what you are paying right now (but, always check).

I know that many readers frequently cancel and return later. If you ever cancel your membership after 4th November 2024, follow the second method!

(However, this wont apply for us as I wasn't even uploading this fic during that time. So - Just check your other creators content)

Second Method - Simply make your payments through the Patreon website (instead of doing it from the iOS app). You won't need to pay anything extra and can still access the app on iOS to read the story.
