MTD: Should the MC have eyes?

With this growing attention, I’ve already received some feedback regarding the protagonist’s lack of visible eyes, so I decided to create a poll.
The original idea was not to show the character’s face at all, giving the impression that the MC could be you, me, or anyone, not just Daniel. Due to limitations, I was only able to hide the eyes.
So, what do you think about this? Do you prefer the MC with or without eyes?
