Hikes Mini Update 🥾

The Hikes mini update is ready to download below!

Here’s what you need to know:

Unlocking the Hikes (if you've not already)

• Buy at least one lingerie set from Town Centre.

• Stay home alone for the day.

• Try on the lingerie (note: this isn’t possible while on your period).

Before trying anything on, a scene will start where you find your old hiking boots and chat with Grant, unlocking hikes as a Monday activity.


Routes & Events

• First hike is always the Easy Route. Completing it unlocks Scramble and Beast routes.

• Each route has specific events on the way up, plus one generic event on the way down if the first didn’t trigger.

• Weather will effect the hike. Rain or cold has a special event that always triggers on the way up, hot weather can trigger an additional summit event and an optional moment is available in a heatwave if you and Grant are in a relationship.

One hike on its own is fairly short as far as other activities in game go. But it has replay value through the different routes, weather, and interactions with Grant. If you’re a couple, interactions are flirty and playful. If you’re just friends, interactions show how Grant is adjusting to his once male best friend now being a busty blonde bombshell. I’ve tried to give a little more focus to how your transformation affects not only you but those around you who know about it.


Other Stuff

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’ve added a small branch to Act 1 and tweaked some Halloween outfits (even though they are not yet implemented in-game).

There was also a review on TFGames that recommended I remove reference to Alex Jones and Infowars, despite the relevance with his famous rant about feminising frogs, I agree and have removed this, as his reference can easily just be replaced with going down a YouTube conspiracy rabbit hole.

I also fixed a pregnancy bug that a few people messaged to let me know about, where conception before the second period could be miscalculated and cause random midwife visits. That should no longer happen.

While fixing this, I also adjusted pregnancy chances to be more realistic:

• Fertility now depends on the MC’s cycle. There is a lower pregnancy chance just after her period and a week before her next one, and far higher chance during ovulation, rather than a flat 1 in 5 chance while not on her period in previous builds.

• New flavour text in her morning and night routines help subtly indicate where she is in her cycle without explicitly stating it.

If any issues come up because of this change to the pregnancy content, please let me know.

IRL Update

I’ve got my CV ready and am applying for design jobs in my area. My portfolio still needs a little updating but is almost ready. Fingers crossed — I might actually already have an interview lined up! Just waiting to hear back about when I can go in. Wish me luck!

I’ll still be working on the Art Class update while job hunting, so I’ll keep you all posted as that progresses.
