“unhelpful hands” WIP
Added 2025-06-14 23:03:35 +0000 UTC“Work in Progress”. Found another mobile ad for those weird king games that struck me as relatively odd. Second picture is a print out of it as I waste my mother’s printer ink.
This scenario is so odd. The “good” hand looks like it belongs to the king, so is the “bad” one his too? Imagine these giant hands lazily grabbing and moving and you are at your own mercy. But can’t control it cus you’re too busy pushing back the rocks. The door is just barely cracked open and the one hand smells so bad, grabbing at you.
The sketch above was just done in my sketchbook, ink only. Gonna give this a bigger and better treatment when I get back home, like the last one.

I feel like I now see one of these ads 95% of the time I open my calorie tracker app. My only conclusion is that I’ve been cursed. (My favorite is the one where a baffling, green, segmented snake menaces the king)

2025-06-15 15:19:09 +0000 UTCthis ad really jumped out at me too. I've also noticed lately that they're putting the king in situations with two or more perils; he's not just getting crushed anymore, he's getting crushed AND drowned
