merch perch and patreon update
Added 2023-07-11 20:51:49 +0000 UTCHey gang. Sorry it's been a bit quiet, but I am staring down the barrel of a trip back to Oklahoma briefly to see my family then a drive back! Driving, yikes! But that's next week. This week, I'm getting all my ducks in order with this and that before I leave. One of them being merch! Here's some screenshots of ideas:
•"It's Happening with or Without you" Some cat and mouse merch with an ominous warning for all who read it. I made it clean and nice with a pen tool but I'm wondering if I should try it with my simple line art or make it chunkier or something. I need to let this one sit a bit but I'd be willing to hear any comments.
•"David Cronenberg Rules" based on the "stephen king rules" shirt worn by a kid in the old film "Monster Squad". Why he wear that? For what purpose? The shirt speaks for itself, really. And while I like King, I think Cronenberg deserves some love too.
•"Cute Cult/Beheading" from a sketch in my sketchbook, why it's perfect as-is! The only real question is what do we do with it? Shirts, okay, but what about a hat? I'd like to try something a little different than the shirts we produce these days. Something more varied! I don't know, just trying to work outside the box we've been placed in.
If you got any merch suggestions, let me know. Don't mention books, I know I know! Pinocchio is still ready and waiting and we're gonna get going on that as soon as the boys at Topatoco don't have an avalanche of plushies to sort through! It's tough staying afloat! But we're gonna! I promise! And something extra for patreon heads only. Something new I'd like to attempt. But more on that later.
For now, I'm gonna focus on these designs and work on getting you one more update on "How to Stop a Problem" before I head back to the mother land.

I do like the idea of chunkier lines, and I think it would be a slight aesthetic improvement, but im already having a hard time typing and throwing money at the scrren athesame tim
