Birth of an Eddy

I apologize for my absence, I lost power during Hurricane Irma 2 weeks ago-- I got power back within 2 days, which was ahead of most people, but I continued to be without Internet for a week and then was very busy with my next full-length Smashbits commission.
Fortunately I haven't run out of things to post yet, so how about I ease back into it with this sorta-sweet Ed, Edd n Eddy commission I did at the beginning of the year and forgot to share! I got an email from my friend Chelsee requesting lineart of Eddy's birth, and fortunately I had already planned out a scene like this for Bro Show! I wanted Eddy to be born at the end of episode 5, and this drooly baby + loving family + disco on the hospital radio would be like a horror movie from Bro's perspective. It's more than a tad inspired by the scene in The Rugrats Movie where Tommy meets Dil in the hospital room.
So below is the original lineart I did, and above is the version that Chelsee colored! Enjoy her accuracy!
