Just a dumb pot-shot, hence the faked studio audience stuff in panel 3. Like he's gonna really explain this to someone who just fell in a toilet. You dumbass, Crange! Anyway. I read some of that simpsons thing and realized I had my own epiphany about it just watching it myself, so I didn't feel a need to finish it. Read at your own peril or don't. It's okay, no one is gonna get mad at you for not reading an online article about a show that has definitely overstayed its welcome.
ALso, if you don't know, a show bible is like a guidebook for any given tv show. It's a screenwriting term. I get that a show in its early years can definitely (and probably should) change and grow-up (so to speak) from its initial development, its inception, at the beginning stages. So wiping your ass with the show bible isn't a damning condemnation of that, but damn if some of the newer simp eps have given me the strangest whiplash and bad feels trying to watch any of them. Just NUTS. anyway.
