The eternal automata are truly a marvel of arcane mechanical engineering – even by current standards. Invented by an ancient civilization of seafarers, their creation led to a period of enormous progress, peace and prosperity. Over the centuries most of these peculiar constructs got lost in time. Legend has it, however, that some of them are still intact…

The Eternal Automaton is the third and final monster created for the collaboration with the Dungeon Strugglers, Eightfoldpaper and Seth Persson. The amazing Dungeon Strugglers are creating a swashbuckling adventure set on a secluded island featuring gorgeous maps by Eightfoldpaper and a wonderful soundtrack by Seth Persson.

The tides have passed, it’s nighttime, and the drawbridge leading into their estate of an old lighthouse, isn’t lowered. Cautious to not raise alarms, and in the dead of night, you sneak across the pathway, slithering yourself to the drawbridge. You ready your arrow to fire at the bridge’s mechanic, with your party’s warrior ready to catch the blunt force of the drawbridge when it falls, so as to not make a ruckus outside and wake everyone up. Before you can fire your arrow, however, a small rumble can be heard!

An ancient automaton towers over you! “Where did it come from!?” Its metals are the color of the lighthouse, and what of its mission?
