A little glance from the hungering abyss. Taken from the deepest depths of the sea as by-catch, the deep-sea drop – sometimes called the tröpfchen – is usually introduced to dry land by accident. This cup-sized critter often lingers in moist places with easy access to food or any organic substances for that matter. It can be found hiding in market fountains and urban sewers as well as dwelling in ponds or roaming wet meadows. The slippery deep-sea drop – driven by an insatiable hunger – is feared to quickly wreak havoc: It‘s able to multiply at an enormous rate if well-fed. Harmless to most humanoids per se, it is still advised to keep an extra eye on food supplies and pets, as the deep-sea drop can perfectly imitate fluids to creep up unnoticed.
