📢 Call for Q&A Requests for September! 📢

From August's Content Schedule, you all will have read that September will feature a month long Q&A session where I along with the characters of TFS will be answering your questions, though that could be just the start. Questions/comments might spur character exchanges, reference material reveals, little snippets, new insight, etc. I'm open to whatever you want to send in—from a question to a poignant quote to a truth/dare or 'Would You Rather' question to a reaction prompt, etc. Have fun!
I'll answer what I can, given how many requests I get, along with balancing spoilers.
Let's get into the logistics:
-You may submit your requests from now until August 15th (almost two weeks).
-There are a few ways to submit something. Please pick the one you're most comfortable with since I don't mind checking multiple sources, and your thoughts/questions are important:
- You can directly comment on this post. This is a way to prevent duplicate questions, and I will look at the amount of likes to see if some of you are interested in a particular topic.
- You can email it to me at: lacunafiction@gmail.com, if you would like a little more privacy and don't have access to Tumblr.
- You can submit questions to my tumblr: lacunafiction, if you prefer anonymity, just be sure to include this: #TFSPatreonQ&A somewhere in what you send in. I receive asks throughout the day/week, so I'll want to distinguish yours from the other anons.
-Feel free to directly address the TFS characters, including those whom you might not think would talk back. You can also ask questions about lore and the overall story. General questions (e.g. "What are the ROs' thoughts on marriage?" or "Who's the best dancer?") work too. There isn't a right or wrong with what to send in; there's no specific format.
-If your question isn't selected, there is always next time! I might be unable to address some due to volume and/or spoilers.

I've wondered if ??? pays close attention to everyone in Fernweh equally, to ensure they play their role or is there a specific need to shower the MC with daily nightmares? It's not like they can leave anyway, right?

Surely you interacted as children, went to the same school, that sort of thing. To B: (As of the end of the first book) Who do you feel most comfortable or closest to out of J, R, or S, and why? To S: Given that you were able to read that funky book found in MC's grandfather's cabin, did you have to use something to help translate it, or do you know Latin? And do you know any other languages? To R: In the context of Fernweh, what exactly is a 'bloodline'? I'm aware MC and their family are not bloodlines, is this significant for some reason? To J: Now knowing the outcome of the encounter with the corrupted spriggan, is there anything you would have done differently, and if so, what? Waited for backup, stopped R from attacking directly, brought different weapons/tools to defeat it, found Milton earlier on, etc.. As an aside, Aelsa, the letters J sent to MC were stopped by their grandfather. I'm pondering if this was solely his decision, or was also influenced by the ???. Given that MC would likely have written back, I wonder that this connection would have been enough to allow J to leave Fernweh (if only temporarily), or to attempt to leave and find they couldn't. I'm very curious about the rules around who can and can't leave, and why.

I got that vibe from: "I prefer the stairs" and "I sorta don't want to go into the root cellar". Around what age was the MC when they first became friends with J? I'm curious how long they were friends before MC's forced departure.

I'm curious because not only does it seem MC's Father took MC's Mother's last name, but MC's Father and his family is never mentioned (or hardly mentioned in the case of the Father himself). If this is too spoilery then a simple "yes" or "no" or "it's up to headcanon" works for an answer too if you like. Thank you.

Would a romanced S ever let the MC braid their hair? How would a romanced J react to the MC undoing their hair tie and playing with their hair?
