I did appreciate it it just didn’t affect me the way it affected other people. The story was deep but it’s about characters that they didn’t develop in ways for me to care about. I was supposed to care about a girls family I have never met 14 episodes in, When they have been destroying villages this entire time? Also it’s not like this family had any personal connection to anyone in the story for me to have an emotional attachment to them. Not saying that it wasn’t a messed up scenario, but they have been raiding villages the entire show. The episode was good it just was as amazing to me as people are making it out to be.

Also its just all dots and it gonna connect in the last episode then you will realize the importance of these episodes :)

I mean I can tell that it’s his story based on the focus of the show at this point which is the disappointing part. especially how they set up the whole intro of thorfinn and his father. And him struggling with revenge and his fathers wishes for him.

Can't really watch this because of lip smacking but I'm sure it was good

The last episode of the season is something to look forward to, also it is important to note that this whole season is a Prologue to the whole story. Is what the golden age is to berserk if you ever read or watched it. Also contrary to what it might look like, this is Askeelad's story,not Thorfinn's. Those slow burn episodes are giving you a prespective on Askeelad, that is why they don't advance Thorfinn's per say.
