People hate on boruto because they compare the tones and character development too much. Like by 25 in naruto we were in the forest of death we experienced orochimaru and real creepy shit, and thought we were gonna lose some of the characters right off the bat. Boruto it’s more about showing your fav characters come together to make kids and introducing those kids, their personalities, likes/dislikes & just overall getting you into the series. Ppl expect it just to jump right into killer death vibes and the 4th great ninja war type shit off the bat when in reality this is still pretty much a completely diff series
