Hey loves 💜 — this one is personal. I’ve got friends living with PCOS, and I’ve watched them fight fatigue, pain, mood swings, doctor runaround, and a lot of silence. This pack is our love letter to everyone who’s ever felt unseen. I see you. I hear you. I hope this brings comfort, representation, and some real gameplay space to tell your story.
Real Talk PCOS adds:

7 new social interactions that capture the day-to-day of PCOS (missed cycles, fatigue, medical frustration, and more).
New buffs & story notifications that feel honest, vulnerable, and empowering — not pity, just truth.
A tone that balances realism and empathy, so your Sims can process, vent, and be supported on-screen.
PCOS is common and impacts more than “just periods” — it can touch fertility, metabolism, mood, and long-term health. Many people also face dismissal or delayed diagnosis. This pack is about representation and voice, so players dealing with this IRL can see themselves and be loudly normal in game. (PCOS can increase risks like insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes; learning the signs and advocating for care matters.) NICHD+1
Here are five reputable places to read up, find low-cost care, and bring receipts to appointments:
CDC — PCOS & Diabetes Risk: clear overview of risks and what to do next. CDC
Office on Women’s Health — PCOS: symptoms, diagnosis, treatment basics in plain language. Office on Women's Health
NICHD (NIH) — PCOS Overview: up-to-date science on symptoms across reproductive, metabolic, and cardiovascular health. NICHD
PCOS Challenge (Nonprofit): support groups, education, advocacy, and community. pcoschallenge.org
HRSA “Find a Health Center”: locator for free/low-cost clinics in the U.S. (sliding-scale). Find a Health Center
Cycle changes: irregular or missed periods, very heavy or very light bleeding. Office on Women's Health+1
Hormone signs: acne, excess facial/body hair, scalp hair thinning. Office on Women's Health
Metabolic flags: weight changes, insulin resistance concerns. NICHD
Pain & fatigue: pelvic discomfort, cramps that hit different, chronic tiredness. Office on Women's Health
Search HRSA health centers by ZIP for clinics that won’t turn you away for cost; ask about sliding-scale visits and women’s health services. Find a Health Center
Bring notes/screenshots. Be specific:
Cycles: “Here are my last 6 months — number of days, any skipped months.” Office on Women's Health
Symptoms: acne/hair growth/hair loss, pelvic pain, fatigue, mood changes, weight shifts. NICHD
Family history & goals: fertility plans, diabetes/heart disease risk in family (PCOS is linked to higher type 2 diabetes risk). CDC
Ask directly: “Can we discuss labs for hormones/insulin resistance and a management plan based on my goals?” (NICHD/OWH overviews can help you frame questions.) NICHD+1
To every baddie managing PCOS: you are not alone. Your pain is real, your strength is real, and you deserve to be taken seriously — in clinics and in stories. This pack is my way of handing you the mic in-game. If it makes you feel seen even a little, I did my job.
