Hey guys! You may have noticed things have been a bit quieter than usual on Patreon this month. I used to post at least once a day, but lately that's slowed down.

The reason is that since mid-to-late last month, I’ve been dealing with some eye discomfort, swelling, itchiness, and general irritation. Since the symptoms came and went, I didn’t think much of it at first. I wear contact lenses, so I assumed maybe I hadn’t cleaned them properly or it was just the usual minor irritation I’ve experienced before.

Unfortunately, some days it’s been hard to draw at my usual pace. Over the past week, things got worse, especially in my right eye, with excessive discharge, stinging, and constant itching. I tried using over-the-counter eye drops hoping it would help, but today I finally had enough and went to see an eye doctor.

Turns out I have an eye infection, basically conjunctivitis. The doctor prescribed me some medication and strictly told me not to wear contact lenses until he sees me again on Monday.

I’m not usually the type to share my personal life, but I felt it was important to explain since without my contact lenses, I literally can’t draw. That means I won’t be able to make any progress for a few days, and I might not be able to finish the promised Glimmer piece for this month.

Of course, as soon as I recover and get the green light from my doctor, I’ll jump right back into work and finish Glimmer, one of the poses was already in the sketching stage. That way, I can continue bringing you artwork of the highest quality as always! (;
