Thinking some thinks - need opinions
Added 2014-10-17 09:12:12 +0000 UTCOk - the poll I did awhile back showed that you fine folks are overwhelmingly interested in seeing adult comics. However, I originally set this Patreon up with the idea it would support the Evil Twin comic, which is clean. So, here's what I'm thinking - it's possible to have more than one Patreon page, provided you have more than one email address. I'm thinking of using a second email address, so set up a second Patreon page which will ONLY be for Evil Twin, and feature ONLY clean content. That would allow the Cobalt Patreon to become porn central, without that negatively impacting Evil Twin. So, what do you folks think?

I voted for naughty stuff too, but I like to see Evil Twin getting some support as well, so I was going to say that I'd prefer it to stay here rather than have to follow two Patreon pages. But having seen the other comments now, I agree with the idea of having it somewhere separate, and having kind of tip-jar there for those that don't want to do the full on Patreon thing here for whatever reason.

The poll I ran shows that you folks have little interest in the tame stuff. It would be nice to leave open an opportunity for those who do.

And I'm not sure what else I'd upload to a dedicated Evil Twin patreon, besides maybe the Wanted Poster, which is already on here anyway. I'd probably run it like a tip jar. No pledge levels. No bonus rewards. Just "if you like the comic, throw me a dollar."

2014-10-17 20:44:48 +0000 UTCI can understand the desire to want to keep the two interests separate or even have one Patreon dedicated to a specific project, but I agree with Rnixon that this may cause confusion or frustration with some Backers. Most followers of your art seem to know about your mix of cute and porn and embrace both, but that might just be my personal observation and not to be entirely true. I do know some followers will not like having to support the same artist twice, but maybe it could also let people only support the projects they wanted to support from you.

I can understand wanting to keep the porn and Evil Twin separate, but I think breaking them up like that will probably wind up causing more confusion. Or possibly annoying backers, because now they have to back two campaigns to see all the stuff. (It wouldn't bother ME, but could bug some folks.) After all, people who just want Evil Twin can always just view it on the comic site if they don't want to bother with the porn stuff.
