Patreon Change Coming
Added 2024-03-31 01:51:57 +0000 UTCBecause we have repeatedly exceeded the monthly 2 terabyte bandwidth cap of our video storage site (Vimeo), the time has come to put limits on Patreon. We have over 1,700 members accessing our content here... which equates to 24 full days (over 540 hours of livestreams and more) and every month the data requirement for access continues to grow.
Starting April 1st, all content will be available for $1. I will then review April's data and if we are still breaking the cap (or hovering too closely), access will shift to $2, and so on, until we find the balance between accessibility and the platform-parameters we must adhere to in order to make all this happen.
More details to come as we move forward. We still have a long journey ahead of us!
*Note: The outlier in the graph for February is due to me being offline for 3 weeks.
