This duo make acoustic guitar covers of a wide variety of game tunes. I would recommend specific tracks, but they're all great, so to save time: here are the three albums they've released so far. Pick any one of them and just preview a track or two. You really can't lose.

Metroid Metal
Started as a project by Grant "Stemage" Henry all the way back in 2003, this band is about making prog metal arrangements of Metroid music. EXTREMELY GOOD prog metal covers. Metroid Metal has grown into a 5-person band that's released three albums and performed live across the country. If you enjoy some good metal, this is some of the best to be had in the entire game remixing scene.
