I was thinking about 5 round cutouts in the carpet 😇

Silicone 😬 Would be lovely if that made catoon-like jello sounds ... but yea I'll delay all filling operations until I have heard and seen some results

Hey you might wanna patent that and add some of those no-slip rubber pads to the soles for maximum safetly

Marco Reps

You need some steel toed socks when moving that heavy stuff around. Eeeeeee!

Looks good Marco. When I made my machine I filled my tubes with ordinary sand. This reduced the amplitude and frequency of an induced impact by better than half. Since then I saw another builder use sand and silicone casting compound. This seems better to me but I don't know what his results were. Epoxy granite seems more suitable to adding rigidity over longer spans than your machine. But I'm sure it would be beneficial none the less. I look forward to your videos.

I so would have expected you to do a 3D printer chip absorber using few rare earth magnets and removable chip trays :) lol

It's really hard to watch you moving *really heavy* metal parts in socks. Not even to mention the carpet. Do yourself a favor and at least buy some cheap plywood sheet and put it under the machine. You are not going to move it once it is assembled. That said, if you want lots of comments under your youtube video if you make one, keep those shots in :P
