If I am at the $20 level, should I be able to read the message at the $10 level, because it tells me to subscribe in order to read it?

Same for me. And I'm pretty sure episode 129 of PWL didn't show up for me.

It's possible, as I have no idea how patreon structures tiers. But the most straight forward way would be for each tier to be able the access everything in the tier before it, otherwise you'd have to micromanage every post for every tier individually. That'd be a nightmare to deal with.

Same for me, maybe it is only for the Charizard Tier and not for other tiers.

So i'll comment here as I can't comment on the actual post. I received the notification mail titled "Test", clicking the link to view it on patreon just takes me to a 404 page (both on mobile and desktop). If I just go to my patreon feed I see nothing, the last post from you is this one. If I click your profile then I see the most recent post titled "Charizard tier test" which is showing as locked to me.

No new content since February 11, even though I'm at the $10 level, which is supposed to get early/ad-free PWL episodes. If you've posted any since then, they're not even visible to me. Viewing on the website.

The iPhone app (can't say for Android) doesn't display any posts for tiers above the one I'm at (I'm currently $10 Charizard). This means it appears that there have been no posts before this one, back to Feb 11, until you visit through the web site and see that there are a bunch of posts, they're just locked to higher tiers (as they're supposed to be, actually, even though you sometimes post PWL eps at lower tiers). The app should work like the website, so that people can see locked posts and maybe upgrade if they want to access them. It's also confusing to know there were posts but not see them at all. Although that may result in notifications about posts that the user then can't access, which would probably suck for lots of folks. Dunno what to do about that.

My RSS feed isn't updating with any new episodes, but I don't know if that is Google Podcast or Patreon issue. My guess is it's on the Patreon end because I don't similar issues with other Patreon creators.

I have not really noticed any issues this side of Patreon, the only thing on thing I have noticed is that I don't get an email notifications when you (Alanah) post on here, I have all the email sliders ON for this account, and get email notifications from all other creators, but nothing from here.

Recently it works fine for me and the new video uploader is great as well. My only issue is that Patreon locks all posts before July 14th 2022 for the Mega Charizard Y tier. We already discussed that this is because these were posted before the tier was created and Patreon did not give access backwards to these earlier posts despite they promised you that they will (see our discussion at 17th September 2022 Taking Questions for RLOC and VA101). Not a huge problem at all but would be nice to have access to a few earlier exclusive content. Thank you!

I sympathise with people having access issues, but thankfully it seems to be working ok for me (so far) I just checked and Troy’s PWL ep works fine. The only thing I noticed was being invited to submit a question for the last Q&A despite being in the tier below. Pretty minor compared to what others are reporting. Good luck with the meeting, I hope they are helpful.

I found the latest PWL is locked. The previous version are not locked, except for Dec 5th. 2022. Patreon asks to upgrade my membership when clicking on the locked PWL.

I can see all recent content fine but I find patreon annoying to navigate so I tend to rely on the hyperlinks I get in the notification mail for new content. But I do have an issue with older content. Scrolling back through your feed I can access everything I expect until I get to the post “Taking submissions for RLOC” from July 14th 2022” which is locked for me. Same goes for the Cliffy B video game writing from July 2022, both audio and video versions. Same for Idiots and a broad #11. Fairly sure I originally saw all of these and my tier should have access. If I click on one of these locked posts I am brought to a screen asking me to “complete my payment to Alanah Pearce”. Oddly it is trying to get me to pay for the minimum tier amount to access this content but it actually recognises that this is a downgrade vs my current subscription. On the right hand side of the same screen I can see my current sub tier is due to renew on the 1st April and in fact the screen tells me it will credit me back to difference for my current sub tier vs the lower tier one. Unless there is some conflict in how the content is tagged for different membership tiers then it seems odd that patreon both recognises my current higher tier but wants to me reduce my subscription to see this content. I didn’t scroll any further back but I know in the past some of the even older stuff was showing as locked to me that I had previously been able to access.

My podcast RSS feed hasn't updated with new episodes since last year; the latest episode I see is VGW101 from December 12. I do see newer content on Patreon itself, though.

I have not seen an update since Feb 11, no PWL, no VA podcasts, no writers podcasts, I know some if it maybe the changes but since I've at least seen a couple PWL since then on youtube, there's definitely something funky going on.
