Patreon Updates

Hi everyone, Kyla here! I wanted to update you on some exciting changes coming to the Bridges Patreon. When we first launched Bridges, we were committed to keeping all content free. While that’s still important to us, we’ve realized this model limits fan engagement, community building, and the long-term sustainability of the project. So, I’ve been brainstorming new ways to bring you more value while strengthening the show and its community.

Initially, Bridges was all about connecting opposing ideas, but I’ve come to see it as something bigger: a way to bring like-minded people into a space that’s thoughtful, Internet-culture savvy, and open to challenging ideas. To that end, we’re introducing some new features to Patreon:

• Exclusive Discord Interviews: For paid members, we’ll host 40-minute interviews with guests—especially those who aren’t ready to visit Miami yet or those we’d like to reconnect with. These interviews will include an audience AMA and will later be uploaded as bonus Patreon-only content.

• Steven & Kyla AMA Sessions: We’ll plan a few AMA sessions with just the two of us to hear your feedback and ideas.

• Higher Patreon Tiers: These will offer closer insight and input on future interviews, guests, and content.

Long term, my goal is to bridge DGG with professionals, experts, and individuals curious about Internet culture but wary of social media and its pitfalls. Imagine a Discord where members not only enjoy great content but also benefit professionally—whether through networking, mentorship, or even landing a dream job.

Ultimately, I want Bridges to do more than connect ideas—I want it to help make the Left cool and connected again.
