My Good Friend Thea

About five years ago I was fortunate to meet a lovely young lady, who at the time went by the name of TheafromShield. She made cute transgender comics using the Sims. We began talking and soon became good friends. In  fact, I can safely say that she is one of my best friends at this  point, despite the fact that we live half a world away from each other.

Thea  was not a big fan of age regression comics, but nevertheless read all  of mine. She asked if she could be in one of my comics, and made her  Areg5 debut in Poolside. She soon became a regular cast member in my little world.

Although  I tried to encourage her to start making her comics using Daz3D, which I  and many others use, she was reluctant at first. She did  ask that I make a portrait of her, pictured above, which I updated a bit  as I’m better at lighting than I was at the time, but other than that  is unchanged. That model became her avatar on DA, until I updated it,  and of course she has done many, many revisions to it since then.

Thea finally decided to try her hand at Daz and what do you know? She quickly mastered it. Her  comics became very popular very quickly, and her site grew to the  extent that it eclipsed my own, and I think I can say at this point that  her ability to create beautiful images eclipsed mine as well. I couldn’t be more proud.

I was saddened when she told me yesterday on Discord that she is hanging it up. She has her reasons, and I respect them. But I will miss her work, as I know will many of you. I hope at some point in the not too distant future she decides to make them again. I told her as much. We speak fairly regularly. 

There  is nothing like a Thea comic. I am privileged to be working with her on  Beta Test Returns, and a while back she had given me Ages for exclusive  posting on Changing Comics. But I hope that someday we will see another  Man-Head comic( my personal favorite, along with Jeff). And if not  that, then some other wonderful, fun comic from the mind of TinyThea.

Here’s to you, my good friend Thea. You are loved. You know where to find me for anything at all.
