Strahd as he was, not as powerful as he will become. Here’s a depiction of a deral, newborn Strahd after returning to Ravenloft and enacting his revenge on the man who sabotaged his plans the day of his brother’s wedding.
EDIT: apparently, there was an unfortunate “smiley face” on his cape clasp that some of you caught. Congratulations! You found my Smiley Strahd Easter Egg! It will never happen again.
