Cat Girl Mage Concept

Hey, everyone! I wanted to add a little more variety to the roster outside of just fighters, so I've been thinking about a few character concepts (including the idea of some people that Xavier and Aaron knew from Earth). This is one that I literally just came up with today:

I don't have a name for this character yet, but I do have an idea for her backstory. See, in my setting, there's a species called "fera," a race of humans with animal traits (examples include Jessica and Haruka). This character is different in that she was born as a normal cat, but an incident involving her fiddling about with a magic potion caused her to gain a humanoid form. This is why she's different from a normal fera like Jessica in a few key ways - most notably her feet, which we'll get to in just a bit.

After her incident, this girl enrolled into Goodwitch Academy, where she started sharing a dorm room with Nicole. She's pretty bubbly, energetic, and curious about her surroundings and new lifestyle. This curiosity sometimes leads her into trouble (you know what they say about cats and curiosity). She's adapted relatively well to a more human-like lifestyle, but some of her old feline instincts still rear their heads on occasion - for example, she sleeps for a really long amount of time, still likes to catch and eat fish, and still tends to chase mice.

Also, those aren't boots or fancy shoes she's wearing. Those are her paws - they've been scaled up along with her to match her new size and height. However, as a student of Goodwitch Academy, she specializes in transformation magic, which she can use to transform her paws into human feet (as seen above). She enjoys the way her human feet look and feel (especially when she feels a breeze pass between her toes), but walking around with her normal paw pads and claws out feels a lot more natural to her. And in either form, they're quite ticklish, to the point where something lightly brushing up against them could send her into a giggle.
