Sexbot II: Recalibrated - 2.00_beta

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for all your support with the Steam release, whether it was wishlisting, retweeting, purchasing, or anything. You helped make the release a success! Thank you again.

I have officially changed the name of the sequel game to "Sexbot II: Recalibrated". Hopefully this makes it abundantly clear it is in fact a sequel.

This is the first real release of SBR (or SB2?) that has a good amount of content. Starting a new game like this, the hard part is getting environments, lighting, character model and outfits, all looking the way I want them, and consistent through the scenes. Now that most of that is sorted out, it's incredibly fun making scenes again. I am including the entirety of the changelog for this update as well as the changelog, because there are so many new things, I want to make sure you have a reference.

For those of you who did not see what Sexbot looked like in the early days, it would shock you. While I have a much better handle on starting SB2, please know, things can and will change. I will shuffle scenes, reorganize, cut, add and do whatever else I need to do during the development to make the game as awesome as I am able to make it. Primary reason for this, is the time loop is not established yet, and yes, it is coming back in this game (that's kind of the series' thing).

Please give feedback freely, politely, and constructively. The best place to do so is on the Discord in the #beta-testers channel. There will be a thread for #bugs and #typos. Please avoid spoilers in general chat areas for others.

SBR 2.00 CHANGELOG:

New main menu (unlocks after viewing all character intros to avoid spoilers)

Day 1 intro

- reintroductions for 15 characters

- player inputed names and relationships (expanded to allow less awkward dialogue)

- all game settings have been remastered, tons of new wall art

Phone interface

- Contacts - Provides access to each character's stats screen

- Messages - Allows MC to receive text messages. Built in unread notification feature that is specific to each convo

- Texts - Clicking a received image saves it to your phone

- Photos - All photos on the phone can be used as a phone wallpaper by clicking the star at the top left

- Trophies - Trophy screen has a new layout

- Replay Gallery - New "non-scrolling" layout. Character galleries are modelled after the trophy screen layout

- Home and back buttons to aid intuitive navigation

- There is also the general back button in the top left, that serves the same function as the power button (to turn off the phone), to allow seamless exit from the gallery

Replay Gallery

- Fully rebuilt the backend of how this works

- Replays are now available at any time in the game

- Unlocked scenes are no longer stored in persistent data, so a new save will have a fresh start

- Character galleries also provide access to a character's stats by clicking them

Character idle icons

- New character icons that will be used in the gallery, choice menus and phone

- These icons will have outfit variations made available as they are unlocked in the game

- I have also made animated idles for each character in their default outfit

- You can choose between them in the character stats screens, or set it to default for a static image if you play on potato

Stats screens

- Change character idle icon

- Change names and relationships in a new format (click to use text input, and 'enter' to accept)

- View character stats

- Characters start at previous game's max affinity

Navigation menus

- New layout and images

- Character progress indicators appear to show who is available at a given location and what you have seen

Choice menus

- Choice menus utilize the character idle icons

- they also display character progress for a given choice (Alexa 0/1 scenes viewed --> Alexa 1/1 scenes viewed)

Calibration screen

- this is more WIP than the others, as it is not fully used in this version

- the plan is to make it a more intuitive selection process for calibration, using image buttons on the screen

Great start to Recalibrated LlamaMann! New replay Gallery is much easier to navigate; idle animations and ability to make pics wallpapers are nice additions. Love Lexx without shades. Sub/dom feature for E is fantastic. Great reintroduction for everyone else....and cant wait to see what you do with the new character...Happy Steve is getting some love :)

No no, when you need to choose if you go to the living room, your room, etc...also at tge start of day. It shows the previous selection, from the last interaction. For example, I choose Baily for the movie night and the following morning when I am presented with the go to campus or stay at home, before even choosing, Bailys avatar is there. It's even more obvious when there are multiple characters for an interaction, like the cheer squad on campus and the next choice is Sams bedroom, all the cheed aquad are there, only Sams icon is pasted over someone else. Looks like a reuse of lists, and the resources haven't been cleaned up before presentation.

Only trick to this one is you have to ask a girl to the movie at school to get her to the movie at night. You can keep playing and the day repeats so you can get everything
