At this point, Meiko and Lexxx are both plot locked. Lexxx has a major role in 1.0 and her story will be continued there. Meiko has basically won the side character race, and side character proms will become an option for after 1.0.
Luckily, there are fantastic options remaining! Vote for who gets a scene in the next update!
