Hm, I think you are refering to what Wolf wrote in the comment section of CH1 Page 15^^ http://www.hentai-foundry.com/pictures/user/Nayuru/317698/Deathblight--Ch.1-Page-15 Just keep in mind, since this was years ago, things may have changed a little in some cases, so not everyithing Wolf once said may still apply today, as the characters and all constantly evolves and gets refined :3

Its just that the untouchable strawberry blew all her energy fighting some previous demons. Gladius is more durable/experienced while Ferania is too fast for him to hit. So its a question of if Ferania's stamina can last long enough for her to do enough damage to take down Gladius or if Gladius's greater experience can allow him to pound Ferania into the ground.
