6 months in one day

I feel very bad and ashamed it took me so long to deliver first wips of this - very often the delivery time is 90% getting my shxt together and then finishing the lines in few hours.

I was very anxious with this piece, all the details requested, the measurements, the personalities, the requests of positions, expressions, accessories, two of those characters are made just from a single photo of animal without any ref! Oh, finding the right references, making a collage, looking for good pictures and items - would you believe i literally used a photo of a former president of poland picture at first for one of the characters?????

improvising with form, shape and vibe, artistic freedom with poses but also setting them up in a line without looking stiff, pick of clothing, distance, shape of heads, combining with species and the helicopter in the background also!!

All of those were in my head buzzing, giving me anxiety for months, I was moving this in queue, almost dropped it and refunded it, finally gave myself a deadline til the end of this month.

And i finished the lineart - hangover after last night with boyfriend and friends, stressed on new diet, also after hearing (and seeing!) some confusing news about our old friend and same emotional crisis along the way.

And I finished the lines, started this morning, finished it all after few hours. All today. All alone, me, my refs, my thoughts, my pen.

And it was a very exciting journey today.

I learned a lot, Im easily overwhelmed.

Im very thankful for Gale and Blurple - amazing people, supportive and extremely patient. Thanks so much. Hopefully to be done soon with this one :)

Many of you waited /a bit/ for their first wips of some of the comms and still wait for them - thanks again for no rushing me and supporting me and my work. We will all get there :>
