DarqUI 2K/4K Group 29
Added 2023-01-04 03:01:06 +0000 UTCOne component that gets its own group? Well once again, as with Group 28, the answer is yes. It's been a very interesting process getting the AA (Alternate Advancement) window to behave nicely enough to offer it on the premium update server. Check out the video and you'll see what I mean!
Because this window is the only one labeled as "Experimental," you'll have to choose it manually when you check for updates. It won't go into the first-time download for players who are setting up the premium UI initially, but it will get selected if you choose All Large or All X-Large from the update grid.
In the video I show you how to disable the "zooming icon" behavior for the current session if you find it to be distracting. But there is also an internal setting that you can use to stop the zooming permanently:
In your DarqUI_v3 folder, open eq2ui_mainhud_achievements.xml in Notepad or other text editor. Very near the top of the file you'll see a line for "ZoomPages." Change true to false and save the file, then the next time you restart the game the zooming effect will be permanently disabled, while keeping the overall window at the L or X size.
