Bugged Out v2.0

Part 2

We have three more QoL improvements for premium members today. The first one corrects a long-standing annoyance that some players have experienced with the... well, with the Experience window. If you have characters with XP bars that have refused to resize correctly in the past (see image), try today's update and I think you'll have a better... experience.

Next, you will no longer get red error message text when setting up and using Mount and Familiar Presets (articles [1] [2] [3] [4]). The only red text you'll get is the standard Familiar dismiss message, which is red by default.

Next, the Tradeskills window has a new option for displaying reaction event timers. Players have pointed out frequently that the "windowshade" timer makes it unnecessarily difficult to see the event icons, so there is a new right-to-left timer option in the window manager that does not obscure the icons at all (see image above). In addition, using the regular top-to-bottom timer no longer shades the icon as it ticks down.

My thanks to members LoJ-Mike, Purr, Ayel, chief and Rosyposy for their help with ideas, diagnosing and testing these improvements. When we say Darq Side members are part of the project, we really mean it. Even with the bug fixes!

Part 1

Since the 64-bit platform upgrade, Darq Side patrons have been reporting with increased frequency about a small but annoying UI issue. Namely the in-game Window Manager opening to a blank page, or the wrong page, when you go to change a setting. Today there is a fix available to you on the premium update server.

It's a very small change but it affected 109 files so the update is going to seem a lot bigger than it really is. If you've never noticed the Window Manager issue then you should not see any difference in how the UI behaves as a result of this update. I want to thank Darq Side member LoJ-Mike for his meticulous testing on this bug fix and one other (mostly cosmetic) issue with a fix that's currently in the works.

Also, thanks to Darq Side member Bel for pointing out and helping me test a bug fix for certain DarqUI Bag windows that would not close. Here again, only a subset of players will have encountered the bug, but it's been corrected today as well.

As always, thank you for being a member of the Darq Side!
