Never Say Never

All players who use DarqUI can choose bags and containers with disappearing titlebars, but Darq Side members have some extra nifty choices as seen in this video. Recently Rosyposy and I were discussing the bag window, and she mentioned that she preferred the titlebar-less bags from another author.

Rosy's issue was not that the DarqUI disappearing titlebars are a problem, but that she prefers bags with absolutely no titlebars, ever. A right-click on any bag window handles Bag Options, Close, etc.; she does Transmute/Salvage actions with macros and therefore doesn't need those controls either. The other author's bag mod adds a small square button in the corner for moving the window around.

If you use the super-secret techniques from the Titlebar video, you already have plenty of small square buttons in corners. So Rosyposy challenged me to come up with a solution that is properly on-brand and Darq-ified.

The solution is the new Never option. In addition to Normal, Hover and Always, members now have a fourth option that keeps all bag titlebars rolled up and out of the way all the time. Choose Never from the Window Manager dropdown (or cycle to it with the TB Modes button) and you can grab those blue handles at the top with nary a titlebar sneaking up on you.

But wait, there's more!

As a bonus, you can now save your titlebar preference between sessions instead of always starting out with Normal. Use the familiar Save button to change your default. There's not a control in the utility for this setting yet, but you can duplicate all bag settings including this one to your other characters using the Duplicate feature on the Manage page of the utility.

A nice side-effect of these changes is slightly larger blue activation bars and a big improvement in how they respond to the mouse pointer in Normal display mode. Give it a try and I think you'll be satisfied with the improvements.
