2025-03-08 00:00:49 +0000 UTCAce doesn't have parents, just the Royal Flush Gang who act as family. In canon her uncontrolled powers drove her parents into a coma while she was a baby. That's a bit too grim for me so I am glossing over her backstory. If it comes up I'll make it something more appropriate and not nearly as dark as canon.

Still....if word got back to Selina that her favourite sparring partner is not long for the world, does anyone think her on-off relationship with Batman would suddenly get a whole lot more "on" permanently? π

Bruce really shouldn't have been allowed to adopt kids. He really isn't emotionally there enough to be there for them. Then again it's Gotham and anyone that isn't a pimp, drug dealer or gang member is a step up from the rest of the city. Really do have to question how ordinary people live in that shit hole of a city. I mean is everyone there just to have a tragic back story in case they need a new hero or villain some day?

2025-03-07 21:10:30 +0000 UTCHahahahahaha that end was too good. Looks like Bruce is so pro adoption he'll lock up the 'parents' just to get the kid in the system for Xander to adopt. I had wondered how the gang would respond to Ace wanting to be adopted, i guess that's one way to handle it.
