Aegis 9
Added 2024-07-12 23:50:19 +0000 UTCI wasn't about to make everyone wait forever on a cliffhanger, that just happened to be a good end point for the chapter since it was obvious the fight and its aftermath was going to be a chapter all on its own. Anyway.... Here is chapter 9! I uploaded it to FF.net, using the mobile app as the site seems to be having problems so the link I'm providing won't actually work on a desktop until they fix that.

I had started off wondering how Robin knew it was Xanders car to attack him, then realized, license plate +DMV = DL photo. Starfire you should have asked anyway, I don't think Xander would be upset with someone who actually did a good job during the fight. Aww, I think Starfire is a bit intrigued by Xanders perceived qualities and abilities and Raven likes his ass. Hopefully Starfire will say something during their debrief which will get a reaction from Buffy. Should it now be 'Xander is a Demon and Alien Magnet'? what with the way Starfire and Raven were talking at the end.

2024-07-13 02:49:38 +0000 UTC... They also selflessly risk their lives to help strangers for no real gain. The big confusion for me is they had a time sensitive task and they stopped to break into the only car in the parking lot when Ravens vision was of dozens of guys who wouldn't fit in that car surrounding terrified women. And the mage is last seen smashing said college guys, and fighting the group. Titans aren't usually so dumb. Harmony was 100% correct there.

2024-07-13 02:48:28 +0000 UTCComic heroes are always over eager idiots who do more to help the villains than they usually do the people they're tormenting. Not surprised Starfire was the only one who wasn't a fuck up in that situation. She knows when to go for the kill and when not to. The other will give a hundred excuses for why they shouldn't kill and thus let the enemy get away to kill even more people. Kind of wish the Titans would have been arrested for it though. Would have been fun to watch Bruce have to try to bribe them out in a city that he doesn't own.
